Flush: Mushroom Cultivation — Privacy Policy

The short version

Flush does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you enter (grow names, species selections, substrate weights, readings, flush harvest weights, notes) stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, or usage data.

What we store on your device

The app saves your grow log (substrate batches, readings, events, flush harvests) and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData / Core Data on-device store. This data:

• Stays on your iPhone or iPad
• Is never transmitted off your device
• Is included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud backup enabled, per Apple's standard backup behavior
• Is deleted when you delete the app

In-app purchases

Flush Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ($6.99) that unlocks the full calculator surface (Masters Mix, agar, liquid culture, expanded species library, plug spawn for logs, multi-flush yield tracker, brand presets). The purchase is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit; we never see your payment method, name, address, or any other purchase detail. Your purchase history is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID via Settings → Restore purchases.

Network use

The app does not make any network calls in normal use. The only outbound activity is StoreKit's purchase / restore flow, which Apple handles directly. The app does not contact our servers (we don't run any) and does not load any web content.

Children

Flush is a hobby utility for adults growing edible and medicinal mushroom species. We do not knowingly collect any data from any user, including users under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will replace this page and the "Effective" date above will update.
