Marker: Longevity Biomarker Log — Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-06-12
The short version
Marker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Every value you enter (your lab results, dates, and notes) stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, health data, or usage data.
What we store on your device
The app saves the readings and preferences you enter locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (UserDefaults). This data:
- Stays on your iPhone or iPad
- Is never transmitted off your device
- Is included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud backup enabled, per Apple's standard backup behavior
- Is deleted when you delete the app
In-app purchases
Marker is free to download with a 48-hour trial. A single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ($9.99) unlocks the app permanently — there are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store; we never see your payment method, name, address, or any other purchase detail.
Network use
The app does not make any network calls. There are no servers we operate, no analytics endpoints, and no third-party SDKs that contact remote services. Your bloodwork values never leave the app.
Health data
Marker does not integrate with HealthKit. It does not read from or write to Apple Health. The lab values you enter in Marker stay in Marker, on your device.
Not a medical device
Marker is an educational reference and a personal log. It does not measure, diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It displays values you enter alongside published, named-source optimal ranges (Peter Attia's Outlive, CDC/AHA, the American Diabetes Association, and NCEP ATP III) for educational purposes only. These are general published targets, not personalized goals. Always discuss your results with your physician.
