Splash: Chlorine Pool Care — Privacy Policy

The short version

Splash: Chlorine Pool Care does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you enter (pool volume, test readings, default chlorine source, surface type, preferred chemistry brand, dose history, unit preferences) stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, or usage data.

What we store on your device

The app saves your pool setup (volume, default chlorine source, surface type, preferred chemistry brand, metric/imperial unit setting) and your test reading + dose history (last 30 of each, used for the CYA trajectory forecast) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data:

• Stays on your device only
• Is not transmitted anywhere
• Is removed if you delete the app

What we share

Nothing. We have nothing to share because we collect nothing.

In-app purchase

Splash Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. We do not see your payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction itself; your purchase status is verified locally by your device through StoreKit and is not stored on a server we operate.

Third-party services

None. Splash does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, including analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or AI providers.

Network access

The app does not require an internet connection to function. It does not make network requests during normal use. StoreKit communicates with Apple's purchase servers only when you initiate a purchase or restore.

Children's privacy

Splash is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored off your device, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all locally stored app data, delete the app from your device.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
