What Wick does

Wick is the candle-maker's calculator. Enter your vessel and wax, and it gives you the wax weight, a safe fragrance load (with the IFRA and wax caps), a wick-size starting point, pour and cure temperatures, and your cost per candle — every number cited to a named source.

Common questions

How do I make a recipe? Tap “New candle,” enter your vessel size, wax, and fragrance load, and the results update live. Save it to reuse later.

Where do the wick sizes and limits come from? CandleScience and The Flaming Candle wick guides, IFRA Category 12 fragrance limits, and wax-manufacturer spec sheets. See “Sources” in Settings.

Is the fragrance load safe? Wick warns when you exceed your wax's maximum or your fragrance's IFRA limit, but its numbers are a starting point — always burn-test your own candle.

What does the purchase unlock? The 48-hour trial unlocks everything; a one-time $6.99 purchase unlocks saving recipes forever — no subscription.
